I went to Tiffield from 1973-1975, and I loved it. My teachers were Miss Green, Miss Stilton and Mrs Wakeling. We had some of our lessons in the house, and I remember going to the Bee keeper just down the side lane (can't remember his name, though !). I also used to love going to the Christmas Carols and Harvest Festival at the church.

Thank you to all the children at Tiffield School for inviting my husband and I to your History afternoon on June 20th and showing us round your school. We really enjoyed seeing where my Mother Norah Gardner and her sister and brother and cousins all went to school. It is a hundred years this year since my Mother who was the youngest of the children was born so that is a whole Century ago. What a special place you all go to school in. Good Luck with the new classroom.

I attended Tiffield School between 1972 and 1979. I have really enjoyed looking at your website - especially at all the photographs that you have taken. I am about to talk to other teachers about inspiration in learning and one of my inspirations is the way that I was taught at Tiffield School - particularly by my Infant Teacher, Mrs Wakeling. I gather you are doing a project about the history of the school at the moment. I will try to record some of my memories and e-mail tham to you.
